EDMONTON, AB. - On Friday night #07 Keenan Forstey led the Thunder with a game high 18 kills and 21 points to earn a 3-2 set victory over the Lakeland Rustlers. (17-25, 23-25, 25-19, 25-16, 15-13)

#5 Trecito Gansan provided offensive and defensive support with 41 assists and 21 digs to help the Thunder overcome a two set deficit. The Rustlers offense was led by #01 Matt Peck (13 kills) and #16 Gavin Wourms (14 kills) while on defense #03 Abner Jean Carlo Funez Raudales led the way with 25 digs. 

The Thunder improve to a 6-7 record while the Rustlers fall to 3-10. The two teams will face each other again Saturday night at Lakeland College (8:00PM).
