Thunder took down visiting Eagles 89-56

EDMONTON AB – Concordia University of Edmonton went head to head against the visiting Kings University and extended their winning streak to 7 games, winning 89-56.

The Thunder dominated early and put up 44 points in the first half to take a commanding lead. The Thunder went 51% in the paint and was able to get the rebounds that help solidify the win. #9 Ryan McLaren put up a team high 18 points for the Thunder, but it was Eagles #11 Nigel Rolle who lead the game in points, putting up 19 of his own.

The big Kahuna Player of the game for the visiting Eagles was #25 Jacob Wojcicki, who lead his team in rebounds and contributed 8 points, for the Thunder, #7 Keaton Souster tallied 8 rebounds and 11 points. The Thunder are now 7-0 and are extending their first place lead, the Kings University is 1-5 and the two teams will be facing off against tomorrow, when the Eagles host the Thunder.
