Thunder still undefeated!

Thunder still undefeated!

EDMONTON AB – The Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) went into today's game undefeated and kept their streak alive. They faced off against the visiting Lakeland Rustlers in their back-to-back series. The Thunder defeated the Rustlers 83-56.

The Thunder had a slight lead going into the second quarter, but turned on the jets and ended the half with a 13 point lead. #9 Ryan McLaren was the offensive force that kept the Thunder ahead contributing to a team high 31 points. #3 Brandon Isaac lead the Rustlers with 14 points and 2 rebounds. The Thunder ended the game shooting 40% from the 3-point line, contributing to 24 of their 83 points.

This win by the Thunder extended their winning streak to 6 games and are solidifying their spot at the top of the leaderboard. Next weekend the Thunder will take on the Kings College and Lakeland will be facing off against Keyano.
