Thunder close off the regular season with a W

EDMONTON, AB – The girls closed off their season in dramatic fashion, beating the visiting Lakeland Rustlers 63-57.

Lakeland took the early lead finishing the first quarter up by 3, but Concordia answered with a 5-point swing in the second. #11 Morgan Dool was a power house shooting 75% and contributing a whopping 21 points to help give and maintain the Thunder lead.

Lakelands #7 Megan Ferraz lead her team in points with 15 with 3 3-pointers. Ultimately the game came down to shooting %, it seemed as though whenever the Thunder released the basketball the scoreboard would light up, shooting 45% from the 3 point marker and 79% from the free throw line.
