The Thunder came out of the gate firing, taking control of the first set and not looking back as they won 25-18. This momentum carried into the second set as the Thunder once again took control of the game, winning the set 25-16. The third set saw closer matchup as the Rustlers pushed back and turned the game into a tightly fought back and forth affair. The Rustlers wrested control from the Thunder winning the third set 25-21. The fourth set was once again tightly contested, with both teams exchanging leads. However, the Rustlers once again took the set 25-22. The fifth and deciding set was much of the same, as both teams exchanged leads. The Rustlers got hot when it counted though, taking the fifth set 15-11 to win the match.
