FREE Physical Activity App

The app DownDog has generously allowed post-secondary schools to have access to their platform until July 1st. All you have to do is sign up.

The app offers a variety of classes from 5 minutes to 90 minutes at a variety of levels. You first start by choosing what type of workout you would like to do: Yoga, Yoga for Beginners, HIIT, Barre, 7 Minute and Prenatal Yoga. Once you have chosen the type of workout you would like to do you are able to customize it for how long you would like, the level of difficulty, and the music you would like to listen to.

Here are the steps you could follow on your computer:

  • Follow the link
  • Click the exercise you would like to participate in on the left hand side
  • Click the start button
  • Register with your Concordia email on the google option
  • Work out!!

Tip: Some of the workout options (eg. Barre) do not provide a warm-up prior to starting exercise. Please ensure you are doing an adequate warm up prior to exercise. An adequate warm up should include raising the heartrate and dynamic stretching for each muscle groups.
